  • Legal framework, parties and the representative’s duties (6h)
  • Risk assessment: methods and measures (6h)
  • Cross-cutting risks: stress, ergonomics, screens, organisation (4h)
  • Specific risks: chemical, physical, biological, fire and explosion (8h)
  • Technical and organisational measures, PPE, procedures, contractors (4h)
  • Consultation, communication, the periodic meeting and reports (4h)

Description

The workers’ safety representative is the link between staff and the company on safety. It is a real role, and the 32 hours are all used.

The course covers the legal framework, how to read a risk assessment, communication, and the relationship with the safety manager, the occupational doctor and the inspection bodies. It is for workers elected or appointed as safety representatives. The qualification is renewed every year: 4 hours in companies up to 50 workers, 8 hours above that.
